I want to bandage the pain they cause while slicing your veins. Bleeding you dry while you're shackled and chained. Catch your thoughts in a bucket while they're draining your brain. Folding contorting and bending until you're considered the same. Making you in their image to deem you sane. You can be yourself now that you've changed. It's okay. But It's not okay. I want to give you back the intelligence they stole. Make you remember what it's like to be whole. Reshape your body to it's original mold. It wasn't your heart, but the world that's cold. They're so sure they're right because it's what they were told. They never bothered to hear the sound in their soul. The definition of wrong and right has been simplified to black and white. The shades in between cast out of the light. The in between truths got lost in the fight. But you're beautiful. Not the addition, subtractions, division, and multiplication.. The original creation. You're incredible. The left over lacerations are minor additions to the very foundations that made you a miracle. So wear your scars with pride with me. Show the world how we came to be free. If it's worth it it'll never be easy. Freedom always came with a fee but when your soul is meant to sing there's no option but to fight to be. Just be. Who you are is not a mistake, It's they who are mistaken. Regardless of your beliefs, you're the epitome of a heaven. Wear your skin with pride, stay humble and forgiving. It's the simplest of truths that get lost in our living.

Welcome to our country, where we promote your freedom of speech (As long as what you're saying coincides with our philosophys) Were racism and bias are WRONG. (Unless you're behind closed doors or computer screens) A land where, (as long as they aren't TOO big), we will support your hopes and dreams Our country of contradictions is one we're proud to brag about from rooftops But we ***** about our laws, decisions, politicians, courts system and cops (on facebook) We wholeheartedly strive for change to better the world (As long as it's inexpensive, and hard work isn't involved) We promise to be tolerant of your religions and beliefs (Unless you're a godless heathan who hasn't found christianity) We take pride in our land because we were told to do so We won't ask any questions; It's easier not to know

America "The Great"
My heart is racing as swift as my mind As rapid as the seconds passing the time I just need to pause; Petrified to rewind I'm stuck in fastforward; A victim confined You sell your soul from the moment you sign Written in blood, you can never resign In the finest of prints, you read every line You knew what to say, but who could decline A euphoria greater than words can define A shiver that tingles clear up your spine My mind is putting in overtime I need to think straight; Toe the line Take the steps to make the climb But all I hear is "just one more time"

What's Winning When You Fight With Yourself
I'm torn in so many directions Stretched so far, my skin's tearing at the seams With a thread and a needle I slowly sew myself back But like a mirror with a crack, I can never be the same again I've been quartered and skinned With lungs blackened by sin Drug through the dust by those better than me Nails left jagged by the scratches Trying to claw my way out of the hole you left me in To fend for myself from the lions and men Nothing to do or hold on to as I try to get out Falling further than I ever could climb

Cast your soulless stares upon the living dead. Your empty actions based on mindless beliefs are so much more politically correct than the ones driven by a bitter solid truth. Your mind numbing drugs are better than ours because you're spoon fed from a prescription platter... Your walk of life is one to strive for? Funny, because we know what it means when euphoria embodies our soul. You're shackled by your monetary hierarchy, flashing trinkets to salute your worth. We understand how worthless we really all are, and laugh in the face of your naivety. The blind won't teach the deaf to hear. Our lesson's still misunderstood. Your hollow visions fall on sewn shut ears. We're only living the life you wish you could. Your every effort is to live forever, and you never quite know why. You fear your own mortality, but we've boldly battled for every breath - and never missed a step. Your optimism is your pitiful crutch that snaps with each new day. Our letdowns now are few and far between, because we bask in realistic delusions. You run your home like a castle from your throne, better than all those below you. Yet, when the structure crumbles, it's funny how you're just like us. We see how worthless we really all are, and laugh in the face of the blind.
