A life looking for happiness in the lives of others: a million pieces broken and reshaped into something unsuitable; into something that saw solace in quiet surrender. Into something naive enough to believe that only I could shape my own happiness. While wanting for nothing, you showed me that I can just be me. It's true: the shape of happiness is you.

The shape of happiness
A life looking for happiness in the lives of others: a million pieces broken and reshaped into something unsuitable; into something that saw solace in quiet surrender. Into something naive enough to believe that only I could shape my own happiness. While wanting for nothing, you showed me that I can just be me. It's true: the shape of happiness is you.
I found somebody who helped me recognise my self-worth. When she says that she loves me and that I am enough, I believe it, which is something with which I have always struggled. For me, this isn't about needing someone to be happy or to show you what happiness is but rather a message that happiness has many shapes and it is possible to find one that suits you.
