This poem has some interesting words; aura, specter, viscera and the letters DNA. At first read, it sounds profound, but when one studies the lines on finds that the problem lies with the person in question and why to get so much into  an unstable state. why to give so much power to the aura of an individual to the extreme analogy that it is invading your psyche and you had to devour it until it gets to the viscera.  A much preoccupation about nothing.

If one let the aura of a person has such draconian influence over our psyche, and by the way, any aura in question can not kill you and has no power to harm. It is all in the  mind. The aura is not a knife, or  gun, or abuse  verbal or physic that one has to consume to escape from it whatever this means for one can never factually speaking consume or devour any aura. It is an abstract concept that the only power it has is that which we want to give  it. The delivery of the diction to tell the harm by the aura is not guaranteed.
