Another day went by without hearing from you, another day went by wondering what did i do, another day went by thinking maybe that’s just you. But you are not supposed to treat me this way, you are supposed to put a smile not tears on my face, it should feel right not wrong when they mention your name. And your phone number hasn’t shown up in my screen for quite a while, why is that dad i’m sure you have some free time. Another day went by without hearing from you. Another day i felt empty while thinking about you.

This is the first poem i’m posting here. I wrote it yesterday at 4am while i couldn’t get any sleep, i really needed to express my thoughts and i couldn’t find a better way. Hope you enjoy it❤️
