up the stairs, i walk
under my breath, i talk to myself
i can't stop thinking about her
see, music's just a reminder
that life is about connection
oh, the emotions
she sends through my body
whether it's dinner, lunch or brekkie
there's no resistance
distance will not matter
because i love her with all of me

but i smile because she smiles too
