me & you, our path
paved with each step we took,
hand in hand
i thought we were civil,
but you took your fist and created a rift
in our ocean
ripple after ripple
stolen emotion from my heart
crippled in your freezing hand.
i thought you were electric,
majestic,
authentic,
turns out you're just
path-etic.
