Like a friend with bad intentions
Voices silently shouting no
When you’ve got a spark hope
The flame is smothered to a glow
Don’t you listen to yourself?
There must be more to life than this
You’ve grown so weak and cold
Your mind a deep and dark abyss
Inside youre dying slowly
but you're dying thats for sure
As comments cloud your every thought
And slam each open door
There must be more than this
They all said it would be fun
Like an orphan in a home
You hope you’ll be the one
So you’ll change you say?
Theres nothing stopping you
You’ve got the things you need
Just start at one then two
The time to change is now
Do it now before youre dead
Don’t become defeated
By the voice inside your head.
