This is good, the lines are standalone as well as linked. This is general form prerequisite; avoid incomplete or run-on lines ending with connections like 'for' and 'with', for example.
The message here is overtly negative as its meant to be be. I'm wondering if you can take that further and make it sound positive in the beginning (as an addict would when satisfying the urge) then hit us with the negative turn in the last line, giving that turn of consideration that haiku/ senryu are famous for?
