Aching,
And sore.
Crying
Uncontrollably,
Asking,
"What for?"
Laughing
Without
End,
At other times.
Fled
From the rush,
Attempting
To overcome it.
In the beginning,
Dopamine
And Oxytocin
Lined a glass ledge
Like Sugar and Salt.
Naturally produced,
Lost
Clear sight.
Shortly later,
Norepinephrine
Drenched
And dried
On the string
Of a kite,
Then took
Flight.
