Let me walk you to this place I go Past the palms trees where the white sands blow Here my heart stays with tranquility and peace You may see the surface, but what lies beneath? This soft ground helps pacify my soul I lay back to hear the tides come and go They form a beat to the drums of my ears Do they impair? No, for love is all I hear I take my journey further out to sea The swells crash and I let them swallow me I let the vibrant life capture my eyes But to my surprise I hear her gentle cries
