Deep in a trance that is my life
Reality fakes, wish I was quiet
But the dawn draws near
And with eyes wide shut
I slowly crawl to what I want
But what I want fades like a passing dream
And I’m stuck here pondering what is reality?
When your heart skips, will they notice the beat?
When my life dips, will anyone care for me?
They love you when you’re on top
And even though they understand
