(1st verse) looking up, no limitations pleasant tasks of conversation don't you miss the time you're wastin' with all the hearts you've been chasin' 2 bar pause after chord pattern changes chorus the times have changed and still they do but you remain in your same old shoes you gotta change you gotta change you gotta change and tell yourself the truth 2 bar pause after chord pattern changes 2nd verse i told you more in those few hours laying in your bed, your eyes vibrant fires your smiles saying more than i could say with words that only pushed us apart 2 bar pause after chord pattern changes looking up, no limitations pleasant tasks of conversation don't you miss the time you're wastin' with all the hearts you've been chasin' 2 bar pause after chord pattern changes chorus/end the times have changed and still they do but you remain the same old you you gotta change you gotta change you gotta change and build yourself anew
