your mind is like a dream.
one of the dreams that turns
to nightmares,
because it makes you want to ignore
the fact that i can be here and there.
(i swear. i'll be good.
i say it a million times,
but i mean it --
it just gets lost in the rhymes).
i'll be standing on the sidelines,
pom poms in my hand
you're making me so proud
i could maybe do a handstand.
a window and door will open
and you'll walk inside,
just like your light, my love,
you'll be enveloped by the sunshine.
