The serenity of the moment surpasses all, standing near the sight and the wonder of two, white tailed deer Not afraid or aloof they returned my glare, my stare just off of my balcony wondering why, I'm there The stand-off, of amazement a simple sound they glean something I couldn't hear sauntering, from the scene A glimpse, a peak of fascination, so supreme nothing left to ponder intruding, nature's dream

First story, from my back porch
The serenity of the moment surpasses all, standing near the sight and the wonder of two, white tailed deer Not afraid or aloof they returned my glare, my stare just off of my balcony wondering why, I'm there The stand-off, of amazement a simple sound they glean something I couldn't hear sauntering, from the scene A glimpse, a peak of fascination, so supreme nothing left to ponder intruding, nature's dream
My dog, was on our patio, looking intently at something, ears ***** tail still, quiet. I went out and stared where he did, at two white tail doe, staring back, munching on the foliage, it lasted about a minute, but seemed forever, as they were not fearful. They were about 20 ft away, when their ears twitched and they sauntered into the woods, I have a feeling, I'll see them again :)
