You came as a blessing, As a light, to my dark world, With a glow, to rid my pale skin, As a hope, to my lifeless soul, With an oath, to make me whole. You showed me trust, You showed me care, You showed me love, You showed me home. What happened, that you took it all? Was I never enough? Or maybe I was too much? Did you get tired? Or did you get bored? You turned back on your words, Like it was all a big show. Told me you're leaving, Without a stuttering tone. You left me to a path, To make of my own. I thank you for the set free, From my deep rooted soul. But, a message sent your way, Treat the next with respect you never gave before.

I still call him a blessing
What to you have to say, when it's a lose-lose either way?
