Sometimes i love him in the quiet way In sighing smiles and stolen glances Quickly stopping when he turns his face Fleeting fondness and sheer delight in all he does, unnoticed Sometimes I love him with symphony and sound Exclamation and blurted promises Urgent kisses and grasping hands Laughter, words and shaking heads I didn't want this I wouldn't I couldn't But now He comes within all that I do And the days without Are so l o n g
