Harm means run Harm means leave People Scream "Harm is coming, you need to leave" People don't say "Harm is coming, here take a seat enjoy the show" So when you self-harm It's kind of contradictory Because your brain says "HARM IS COMING YOU BETTER RUN" But trying to run from yourself Trying to leave your head Doesn't work too well You're stuck Sitting in your own skin eating a bucket of popcorn waiting for your head to end (or the show to begin) This is why I will be sitting here crying while I'm holding bandaids in one hand and a shining piece of metal in the other Self-harm isn't pretty Self-harm isn't beautiful I find it ironic the way we sip our tragedy It's ******* up Just like me.
