Maybe I should just do it this time
The reason?
No matter how hard I try, 
I'm still not good enough
Not good enough for my friends 
Not good enough for my boyfriend
I'm not even good enough for my own family
Maybe my brother won't resent me when I'm gone
Maybe my sister will understand that I was trying to help her
Maybe my boyfriend will realize that there was someone better.
I should just do it
Because no matter how hard I try
I'll never be good enough
To make the people I care about

If you were my daughter I would say; you are not responsible for the happiness of others. Your job throughout life is to tend your own happiness as your first and primary goal and when you are successful with that everyone around you will go better as a sure result.

Please don't. It may seem like the only answer but it's not. Life is beautiful although there are times where we fail to see that due to circumstances. But please.. give life a shot. Give it another chance. Do something you love to do. Write. Sing. Dance. Be happy.

I'm glad to have seen you write this down Anolike, writing and poetry are very cathartic. It helps to organise and understand thoughts. Some of us have been through exactly the same as you, never good enough for friends, family or partners. No matter how complimentary people are about my poems, I find it hard to believe them. It takes time to understand that trying to live up to their expectations of you is the wrong approach. You have to set your own targets that are achievable for you and no-one else. I have been suicidal several times in my life, but my REAL friends have helped and supported me through. I'm guessing you are still very young, so maybe you could try to get someone to talk to like a counselor/therapist, someone removed from your life and completely neutral. Maybe think about what you would do if it was someone you knew reaching out for help, feeling like you.
May I also be so bold as to ask you to read my poem 'Ghostly Note' also. It may give you another perspective of suicide.

When dark thoughts come to mind, just open the windows and look outside, look at silly things like small pieces of leaves flying away, blown by the wind, plastic bags, carried by the wind, that's how beautiful life is, full silly thing that are so amazing how they function

The only person you are responsible to make happy is yourself. Once you make yourself happy then all the people around you will want to be happy as well!! You are good enough! And it sounds like you have lots of people that would be hurt if you gave up fighting. If you feel as though you want others to be happy, chances are the other people want you to be happy. Love yourself and your light will brighten the days of other people.

Life is a journey that ebbs and flows like the ocean. Situations, feelings, grief, they do come in and then they go. Nothing in life is permanent, not even these feelings of sadness or loneliness or inadequacy. It's hard to remember or even see that in the moment. But the older you get, you realize it because you watch it happen time and time again. There is always something to live for. Always something beautiful around the corner if you stay present and open. So many times I look back on dark days such as yours and I am so thankful I saw them through. You learn strength, you learn what truly matters most, and you realize that there is always something worth waiting for, just along the horizon. Life has a lot of hardship, but it glitters with loving gold. Take peace in the small things and be strong. We must all ride these ups and downs together. And in the end, all of it is worth those wonderful moments that come to you. They are coming my friend.<3

You are worth more than you know. You're worth more than gold. There's many that love you. The ones that do can't imagine life without you because loosing you would bring so much sadness to them. Suicide is not the answer honey. Talking about your feelings is because it helps them understand how you feel and they have the chance and opportunity to tell you how much they love you. But if you don't talk about it they won't know and won't be able to tell you their feelings. You write beautiful! The overwhelming response you have received is a conclusive proof that others care for you and love you ! life is not easy for any of us. We should somehow gather the courage to face facts. First you must give away the feeling that no body wants you! None can predict what is God's plan for you ! If you are a believer, believe that He can build from where everything is wrecked!
