Hold it in, and crush it
like a thought inside your head
Burn it down, don't fight it
better out of mind, I said
Wrestle, and overcome it
and put it down, to bed
Choke, the life from it
leaving it, for dead
Simply don't look back
and walk the other way
remembering, to cover tracks
no imprints, for the clay
Bury it in effigy
turn your back, and leave
after all, it's only eternity
your heart, upon
your sleeve

Was thinkin today about an old friend that kinda disappeared.
He got a divorce (her choice), retired, no kids, no family, he faded like a memory of something that was so normal, it looked like every other memory.
I read his Obit today, and thought of him for the first time in years. :|
