The seagull fly’s on a lonely sea Far from others, farther from she Soft strewn feathers matted in his bed Now tangle thoughts mess with his head Primal yearnings haunt his flight No fish can delight his appetite A mermaid on an eastern shore Made his bashful, young, naive heart soar The water reflects his westward path A sinner running from the aftermath Intentions pure trying to give not gain False gods made sure his efforts were in vain

Flying to Despair
The seagull fly’s on a lonely sea Far from others, farther from she Soft strewn feathers matted in his bed Now tangle thoughts mess with his head Primal yearnings haunt his flight No fish can delight his appetite A mermaid on an eastern shore Made his bashful, young, naive heart soar The water reflects his westward path A sinner running from the aftermath Intentions pure trying to give not gain False gods made sure his efforts were in vain
