American Fighting the losing battle
The seagull fly’s on a lonely sea Far from others, farther from she Soft strewn feathers matted in his bed Now tangle thoughts mess with his head Primal yearnings haunt his flight No fish can delight his appetite A mermaid on an eastern shore Made his bashful, young, naive heart soar The water reflects his westward path A sinner running from the aftermath Intentions pure trying to give not gain False gods made sure his efforts were in vain

Flying to Despair
Silently I scream inside As the fire fades and passion dies There’s nothing I can do it’s true She’ll never love me through and through And though my heart is quite exploded Still her simple gun is loaded Then she kicks me while I’m down And turns my smiles into frowns Even she now knows it’s wrong So pity is our new love song Secretly I hate to love her But love to hate her too Cause every time she throws me down She’ll raise me up anew I know it’s cruel and so unfair But each warm touch Is refreshing in the chilly air Those lips that spew such evil How can they bring such lust? Her words say she doesn’t love me But her kisses show she must I’d love to rid myself of her But never will I try It would be the end of sorrow And still I’d rather die.

To Die Happy
Simply a man I am Simply a man I’ll die Golden tears will not Leave eyes while I cry You’ve seen me fall far And raised me up high I will fail you again Though I’d like not try

Simply a Man
A gentle rain lightly sprinkles down To wash away the grit of the ground Its pitter patter sound panters in my  ear The rain stays constant, still urgency draws near Our time is short, and next time is not clear So let us stay inside On this dreary day my dear.

Dreary Day
Unheard truths Sights not seen Lovers lost and Forgotten dreams Fights let go Victorious draws Pitch black eyes Light with awe Sickened children Dying young Fearful cries Of setting suns For every breath could be your last Those lovely faces, life will pass So even if the comfort leaves You should stride against the breeze Fight the waves To turn the tides Challenges come Don’t stand aside Bleed the blood Wet your eyes Keep the scars Let weakness die Cause angry blood and tired tears Must mix for life to preserver

Tired Tears
Eyes black as coal, light the fire of passion Tingling wisps of pleasure radiates from the depths Finally jostled from hibernation, The longing beast within is stirred Natural instincts do engulf it, And a presence from a past life leads Whist gingerness is mixed with crushing blows The dish that’s made sates the lust of love And more is said with tongues subdued Than the talking of a million hours time.

Just to Talk
My thoughts blur with the mention of her name They turn to quiet thoughts of brighter nights And my heart transpires an awesome flame But still cannot compare to her souls light. So quickly I am bound with lust and awe She mesmerizes me without a move. I gaze upon her skin, it’s without flaw Her eyes reach mine, I see she dissaproves. Yet wash over me like monstrous waves I get knocked down a great hail storm ensues Bitter cold creeping up my skin I brave The pain is harsh my heart is sure to bruise. Still I stand and weather the storm for her Deep inside I know I have her favor.

Quick Hail Storm
Those eyes awash with a silver lighting Make a full moons dullness not compensate They tell joyless stories of endless grace One that’s well deceived by a lovely face One that’s caused angels to drown in lust and awe But nay theirs not is she, their tears now rain Her skin so smooth and radiant she bathes. But my minds eye is not alone in thought Others come and go but one is still sought. So day by day my sorrow heart will cry Of longing, lasting, until she is mine. Yet taste for this and that sways constantly. So if her heart is so to be confined Then another maiden, I will make mine.

Make Mine
Sadness, agony, misery, and shame. Words I feel at the mention of your name. Pity, loathing, disrespect, and lack of joy. Become my friends as I become your toy. Tired, sullen, mourning, anger, and fear. All swell within my heart as you near. Beaten, scarred, trampled, and bruised. These things describe how I’ve been used. Sadness, agony, misery, and shame. I feel so bad, yet I’m the one to blame.
