A bird flutters within my chest
She beats upon her cage
"Let me go!"
Fear & doubt manifest
A black cloud rolls over
The deep sea inside me
Then our eyes meet
A bell is rung
I awaken
Can this be real?
I reach out toward it
It's gone too quickly
A sensation I've longed for
Please don't let this end
