Last night I was with you in a dream,
what I remember most about it was how much I enjoyed your company,
us sharing inside jokes and laughing.
All I could think about today is wanting to go back to sleep.
I had to stop myself at 3 in the afternoon and then at 7,
and tell myself that none of it actually happened.
I still dream of you after all this time,
it's getting harder to remember when you used to be mine.
