You told me today That in 3 days it's Mother's Day You asked me if I remember There's no way I would forget my beautiful mother You brought me into this world Just by yourself you raised a little girl You taught me to have a beautiful heart Right from the start You've sacrificed your life for me So I could go to places I wanna see and the places I wanna be You worked long hours When we lived in that 15 story tower You did everything and more You are the one I extremely adore You've been giving up for me I still remember how much you love your morning tea Well like they say, like mother like daughter You got me into not being able to resist my tea You're in my thoughts Helping me connect the dots You're in my actions Every time I do what I love with passion You're in my heart Even though we are apart You're on my mind I love you with all my heart Like you've done from the start

Wrote this one for my mom for Mother's Day. I haven't seen her in 2 years now and I continue to miss her everyday.
