Lost, In the ideology of her past, Listening to the stories of who she used to be, Wondering if everything she went through was meant for her, Her struggle from within, Thinking is the path she leads is meant for us to be, But living that way takes away from her presence. Lost In the idea of the present, Her soul matches mine, The pureness of her heart is too much and cuts through the vine, The thorned vines of my heart, Thinking about if my past could hurts her presence, Our present, But each day she smiles and I ask God why I deserve someone, As beautiful on the inside as well as the out, Her love is like a cloud standing over me, Protecting from the blinding sun, And her presence and our present, Day in, Night in, Day out, Night out, Assures me that now is only the beginning of a future. Lost In the thought of becoming one for eternity, Her forever loving me, And something growing inside of me, Infatuation with my creation because it's ours forever, Til death and after, And though it might end, Another chapter, One only He can give us, Pray the original becomes a sequel, The sequel a trilogy, And the books become best sellers, Because even if in the next life we can't find our way to each other, Our love will always be a reminder, That it's okay to be, Lost.
