You are the rain as I stand in the desert. The light in my darkness. Healer of my grievous wounds. I am envious of you. I loathe you for having all the stars. Building your dreams on my shattered hopes, While disgust lies deep within my empty gaze. Frigid air left me breathless. Jaded eyes wake to the sound of your voice Only to be dazzled by a love unseen.
