i concur. we're all alone. it must be difficult when those we love don't reciprocate. they just walk out of our lives & leave us cold & numb. relationships can be tricky terrain. Trust is a virtue like Patience. when both run out, it's a sad reality. Congratulations on the briefness of your poem Daily. sometimes few words add the suspense.  i hope that you find the proper partner soon. i don't even think about singlehood anymore. it's part of my misery.

These words mean a lot to me, it hurts so much to feel alone when you thought you had someone who cared, and I say that from a recent experience... The wound is still fresh, and I feel your pain. Thank you for sharing.

yeah, it is inevitable that people need space but if it is a close relationship, it is comforting to have communication about it. A warning, a clue.
