I’ve seen love move like a lion Roaming her kingdom and basking in glory I’ve known love to be like a dragon A mythical half-thought from a children’s story I bore the view of her crossing the sea The captain of her sinking ship, leaving last I saw the crew of heartbreak and duty Despite all the sinking, raising the mast I’ve heard love calling, roaring my name Calling to attention my part The lion dragon captain, one and the same Roaring soaring sinking in the depths of my heart My love has conquered all of these things, yes it’s true That is except one, and my darling, it’s you

I Knew Love
I’ve seen love move like a lion Roaming her kingdom and basking in glory I’ve known love to be like a dragon A mythical half-thought from a children’s story I bore the view of her crossing the sea The captain of her sinking ship, leaving last I saw the crew of heartbreak and duty Despite all the sinking, raising the mast I’ve heard love calling, roaring my name Calling to attention my part The lion dragon captain, one and the same Roaring soaring sinking in the depths of my heart My love has conquered all of these things, yes it’s true That is except one, and my darling, it’s you
