*A boy barely noticeable
like gum underneath a table
and a girl everyone knew
her biggest fear being dying too soon
their relationship was unreal.
Other than a few hello's here and there
the boy stood in the background like a stuffed teddy bear
but the boy felt things
had dreams
telling him these feelings were not mere.
On one stormy night
the boy stepped into the light
saving the girl from her biggest fear
encouraging a love so dear
leaving nothing but that night
as a memory to*
hold on tight
