I am the inconsequential name upon your lips, the one that fades and dies. I am the liquor upon your breath, the one that feeds your lies. A memory of tangled sheets, so darling and benign. My eyes they flash a desperate smile before we intertwine. fingers tremble, audacious touch, but nervous and so shy with practiced hands, speak timidly to silence you with lies. to quell my heart with false facade, to set my mind at ease to tell my myself that for tonight my loneliness will cease. I shudder with unrequited fear, this is all I'll ever know, I'll become the girl you tell your love you didn't really know.

One Night Stand (part. 1)
