I have lived several lives, all separate from thee My feet touch the clouds, my body is free But this life means naught without you by my side Without you everything is dark and I wish to hide To hide in the woods, among the animals that call That call to the darkness that consumes us all For life is an illusion that holds us tight Next to the reaper that comes in the night The world will go on without you and I The winds shall still howl and the birds shall still fly This earth is peaceful, my darling, my dear But it must come to to an end, like all things queer.
