the wind was haunting. reminded me of sand between our toes and skin on mine as the sun hit the water exploding into the pinks and oranges that reminded us how we felt. just when the sky could give no more her hand took mine and the stars smiled, their fire illuminating our hearts and bursting into sparks; landing on the sand, happy to witness something like us.
