The Race to Death
And then as I'm about to breathe my last breath
I simply smile as I beat her to death
If only I could get my hands around her neck
And slam her headfirst into a concrete deck
But to live without her I could not bare
To tread alone in this world I do not dare
For in my heart I am filled with greed
As I turn all my wants into one specific need
Perhaps to fashion myself a necklace of rope
To bid the world goodbye from lack of hope
Then the time comes when a choice must be made
To go and enter the quiet darkness and shade
And then as I'm about the breathe my last breath
I simply smile as I beat her to death
