What parents inherit from their children

The worst parts of parents come from their children Your mother is demanding, suspicious, hyper critical? She gets that from you! Your dad’s a useless lump, lazy and dependent? You taught him these reprehensible traits. They used to have personalities And then when you came into the world All their moral values went out the window Nothing mattered except my baby, my baby’s needs You needed some piece of tat, promoted directly to your pram? You wanted your crap taken seriously? Well done! Mum and Dad used to care about the world Now they just care about you The rest of us can disappear and die As long as their spoilt brat’s latest whim is satisfied So when you hate Mum and despise Dad Remember, they were okay before you came along; When you indulge yourself by hating them Don’t forget that you created them Because ever since the day that you got born They’ve adapted themselves to what they think you need Decent people seizing the chance to claim That all their shit is for the sake of the kids.
