My First Date

My first date I can’t wait Scared of awkward silence And what next to say Trying to dress nicely Combing my hair And wearing my vest Trying to look my best Practicing what to say For the whole day Should I bring chocolates or flowers I thought of this for hours I hope this date Would be a great success I hope our first date Is a day we would never forget First impressions last forever Your parents I’m trying to impress Poems is how I express My love for you Okay I love you I confess DenverChua property
