Is the universe unbegotten?
can one say that some great mind
did not calculate the width
and breathed of the universe
of the stars that circle through the sky
of  Orion as he makes his way
on his nightly hunts
of worlds too many
for the mind to comprehend
of nightmare worlds
where manlike scorpions  battle to death
to worlds populated  with cities
made from shimmering light
more lovely than any man
has ever imagined
of galaxies that blow themselves apart
of planets where dinosaurs yet roam
who made the colors of the world
put the blue in the sky
and the fire in the sun?
Oh, the elements have a secret language
I have often in a half awake haze
heard them chattering back and forth
as I lay with My head upon My pillow
Oh, who can decipher their tiny beeps  and buzzes
each but a cell in a great brain
one who says gravity is thus and thus
and no greater
one who sees without eyes
the evil man
and thinks, "I know Your ways!".
who sees a secret loving act and remembers
one who space and time cannot contain
but who contains space and time within himself
who made the worlds out of sheer joy
and sang the heavens into being
one of whom our joy is his joy
and our sorrow his sorrow
for whom ever beat of a heart matters
every tear counted
and to who our every thought
is as an earthquake
all are connected in him
all are one
our pain every man's pain
and in our love every man shares
