Tangled Tongue
What do I say
To the one who scares me
Instead of a shadow wears me
Has no idea I'm his clay
What do I say
To disguise my foolish content
Solely caused by a wisp of his scent
To act as if his minute doesn't make my day
What do I say
To hush the inner voices
Trashing my heart's most inappropriate of choices
You cannot be the price I pay
What do I say
If the hole becomes a pit
How will I ever admit
I don't want this to go away
