Thoughts on a Winter Nights

I love the quiet, Of these cold Lonesome nights. The darkened world Left sleeping in warmth and peace. I love these thoughts, That ravish my mind: Like a fire without warmth, As I listen to the silence. I love the sight, Of the snow covered hills, and the forests, and fields. Frozen under their white blankets Awaiting the warmth of a forgotten sun. I love the peace, Of this colourless world, Cold and Hated, But beautiful all the same. And I love the Quiet, Of these cold winter nights, Where the warmth that you bring Is all that I need.
