Through it all we rise!

Trending upwards always, where the peaks and troughs alternate But the general trend is upwards and indeed we continue to rise. We cried a cry of laughter and pain; A mood that kept us going all day, Sitting under the tree of desolation Bathing in the rain of confusion. The days and night we spent working to reach that place of completion. Streams of blood flowing down our faces, Which reflects the aches and pain. We run, we shout, we laugh, we jump, But through it all we rise! We rise to be determined, to be real and responsible! But is it our thoughts speaking? We’ve reach a stage of confusion, A place of no belonging; Wanting to belong in this trouble world But still fell through the tracks. We run, we shout, we laugh, we jump, But through it all we rise! We rise to defeat life’s challenges; To stand firm and to be sure. To run over the cracks and fill in the blank spaces in our turf. We’ve reach the stage of completion after being held in physical bondage, Physical bondage that keeps the soul moving and the body fit. With the help of our maker; with use of his manual, We can conquer anything that stands in our way; So together we run, we shout, we laugh, we jump, But through it all we rise! One flies….. All soar! Together we rise, above all, we rise! -Renee Plenty-
