God and a blind man
They're keeping score
There are tall men, staring at me
Guarding the door.

And one of score keepers is,
Is pointing me a finger at me
He said "touch, my heart
give me life, set me free"

I reached out to hold him
He disappeared
Static in the air, vanished
Screeching pierced my ear.

Then the dirt split,
it said "come on in
I've been watching you all your life
We can be friends"

I stared back blank
"it will have to do
I'll say my farewells
and I'll start seeing you"

I go back to the room
Nobodies there
The score book is alone
Just resting on the chair

The blind man left a note,
"i have won"
God ripped his side up
scribbled "I am done"
