I know where you hide
in the shower stall
for hours at a time,
letting the steam
and vapor cleanse
your soul like so
many unwanted
prayers.

I know where you hide
in plain sight, with a boy
on your arm and a smile
on your face like a child
on a bicycle.

I know where you hide
in my bed, with your arms
wrapped around my neck
and lips placed oh so
delicately on my neck.
