A texture that is peculiar
A taste that, unlike time, becomes more familiar
In my younger years they did nothing but repulse
Now I find myself eating them on impulse
Plain, in a paste, boiled in a stew
I enjoy them all of any hue
Talking to them makes me feel like I'm dining with a guest
If you are lonely or judged try them sometime
I ensure you that they are the best.
