Your lies are like a familiar face
That scar me to my core
You've changed the person I used to be
I'm nothing like before

You've hardened every part of me
My heart is made of stone
You chiseled away, 'til there's nothing left
Not fit to look upon

You put me on a pedestal
So that everyone can see
But they don't know the person I was
Or what you've done to me

You're proud of your creation
You mold me to your will
You consider yourself the master poet
And me, just the poet's quill

You painted me to your perfection
And forgot about my heart
I no longer exist to me, but to you,
Your greatest work of art
