Feb 2011
A desperate, silent scream
Makes restless, waking sleep
A night scarred by a dream
That my open brain did reap.

You were there and everywhere
The flowers were to bloom
On the breeze and through air
Shedding sweet perfume.

But then the sun, it went away
And I saw what must be true
The clouds rolled in to my dismay
I saw you’d left me too.
