Been down this road before
I know
Still got a long way to go
I'm tired from doing nothing
Chemical weary
I was hoping for no side effects
The windscreen wipers don't help
It's a stuttered rhythm they scrape
Hypnotic as the white line
That keeps me on the track
Oncoming headlights make raindrops
Bright shining diamonds
Whisked away
Miles seen so **** long
The heat makes my eyelids heavy
Bur frost keeps me from turning it off
Something keeps me running
But tonight I couldn't tell you what
