A longing for
something
everything
nothing.

I could never quite understand,
but then again, never could they.

Innocence ripped from body
he said not to worry.

The looks they gave,
The heaviness in the air

It all gave at once.
Within a matter of seconds,
gone
gone
gone.

It all made sense.

We all saw,
Yet we all did not see.

Misunderstandings
lead to false concepts,
floating around for someone to
catch.

But they never did.
They never did.
