A lesson for her
in humility
when for so long she flew so high
unscathed/untouched
she had never questioned why
wealth, and security
had always been nearby
until
she was forced to work for others
perhaps less fortunate than her
sweeping floors
she was scrubbing doors...
with tired feet
she kept things neat...
the only thing she wanted more
was to crawl in bed, and sleep.
