Change of Heart..

A kiss on my cheeks. A kiss on my nose. A kiss on my forehead. A kiss on my lips. I clean, you cook I snort, you laugh. You move, I move. "I love you my dove" "Te amo, mi amor" Surprise flowers visit me everyday, Random declaration of love are whispered in my ear, You fill me in the morning and in the night. Our house is filled with light. Our love will live forever. 7 Years. "When are you coming home?" "I don't know." The door slams and rattles the walls of my heart. ... "I love you my dove." "Mhhmmm." .... "I cooked for you." "It's about time." ...... "I'm sleeping on the couch." "Why?" "Look at yourself." ......... The mirror shows truths. The fat that wasn't there five years ago. Stretch marks dominate my body. My thighs rub against each other. I have no ankles. My tears fall on my inflated chest. The bathroom door slams open. "What are you doing? Cover yourself! Ugh!" Disgust is written all over his face. The mirror does not lie. .................. "Where are you going?" "With her..." "What did I do? I love you, I - you're my everything. My dove." "No. The papers will be mailed to you" "I thought I was your everything..." Sigh Sigh Sigh Sigh "You were..." A Kiss on the cheek, A kiss on the forehead, A Kiss on the nose, A peck on the lips. "Goodbye. Happy Valentines day"
