My Dear Old Dad..
My dad decided to leave us,
But before he left “he said”
I don't want any tears for me,
I just want laughter instead.
“I know” you don't want me to go,
And left up to me, I would stay.
But I have been called back home,
So I must leave you today.
With that my father left me,
and my heart turned to stone.
the only way I can speak to him,
Is with gods telephone.
So every night, I sit and pray,
And talk with my dear old dad.
And remember the times he made me laugh,
And the fun times that we had.
So goodbye dad “I love you”
Thanks for the laughter and loving home.
memories we share together,
When I use gods telephone.
Sheila.
Miss you dad.
