I flash a smile.
And you begin to walk my way.
My mind stops.
On the cold floor is where I find myself lay.

An angel is kneeling over me.
Taking me away from this wreck of my life.
My lips move, but no words come out.
My heart is frozen from the love that will never be.

I go through those last instants in my mind.
At least I died with your face under my eyes.
I've loved you since grade school.
The only love, i've been able to find.

My vision clears,
The colors brighten.
As I wait for the grand tour of heaven above.
But then, your face appears.

"Is it just me or is it everytime you fall you take my heart with you?"
I must be in heaven.
